Getting a late start today because sleep is super important to me!
Here’s the first hour meme:
Where are you reading from today? The Wind-Up Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi, finishing up rereading Howl’s Moving Castle which I started in a frenzy around midnight a week ago after learning that a friend of mine had never read it, Nova by Samuel Delaney… And whatever else strikes my fancy!
3 facts about me …
I have a blog. This blog, in fact!
I rarely update it
partially because I have not been reading much.
Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? I’d like to read for at least 6 hours, finish HMC, and get 100 pages into The Wind-Up Girl.
If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time? Read easy books! Switch it up: read something difficult and/or somber for an hour, and then spend the next reading something fun and light.
(Editted to say that I have NO IDEA how I managed to save this as a draft instead of publishing it! What kind of goose am I?)
